June 5th: Orem to Twin Falls to BOISE!

Our view from the hotel room in Orem, Utah:

In Utah they don't sell alcohol in all restaurants (I'm not sure of the exact guidelines). That's fine, each state to their own. However- I don't think you should be able to use the word "Wild" in the name of your restaurant if you don't serve alcohol. After a long day of driving, it's very misleading.

Mom- will you click on these two pictures and show them to Dad? :^)

WAHOO!!! (excited that we reached Idaho and that I successfully captured the entry sign to all the states that we went through!)

Twin Falls
Twin Falls is known for its big bridge.....

A big bridge off of which people jump

We actually got to see a couple guys take the jump and I got one on camera

After we saw this, I asked Pat the tongue-tied question, did I just see freebasing? The answer is of course no, I saw basejumping. Freebasing involves illegal drugs.....which I haven't seen and don't think should be mixed with basejumping.

We made it to Boise.

Pat, what do you think about moving to Boise?

Emily, what do you think about moving to Boise?

Just kidding, I'm excited.

They have grass here, it just takes a lot more work to grow.

They have streets and cars, just like home

and trees that grow out of rocks

Our home for awhile
