Yesterday morning I said goodbye to my Asheville family and friends. It was good to hug them all before I took off. Grace & Zoe said goodbye from their breakfast chairs along with Marc & Jess. McClain & Kristina gave me a proper Ohio-wave goodbye. Betsy (not of LYLAS) and I met for coffee and Ben (her son, not her husband) and I discussed my trip to see the horses.

Asheville to Ohio

Emily,
I hitch-hiked from Ohio out to Joshua Tree in 1983. I found Ohio to be a great place to begin a journey from. Also, Ohio is a great place to leave behind if you are a climber.
Safe travels Emily, have fun, and don't forget that all of us in Asheville are cowboys and cowgirls without the hats.
Doc
Good Luck Em, and btw, are you going to have a blog with your real thoughts or just this made for television version that all of us can read??
