We had dinner last night in Lower Stanley at the Bridgestreet Cafe. Local beer is good, as is local fish.
We woke up on the Ranch this morning to snow falling. It's hard to see in this picture, but those are large chunks of snow! It melted as it hit the ground, but I'm beginning to believe we're not in North Carolina anymore.
We drove into Ketchum, ID, about an hour away. To find a Starbucks (yes, apparently when I'm not in my hometown, I'm fine with drinking corporate coffee!) It is a darling town and makes me feel like I'm not completely in the boonies. Hopefully, the weather will clear up a little and we'll get to walk around the ranch and surrounding trails.

Wow! Amazing pictures. It's really beautiful out there. I'm glad you're having fun. It's been raining here all day, but no snow. I don't miss the snow, but I do miss you. ;)
We miss you Emily! Can't wait to see more pictures!- Jessica
It's so great to be able to connect with you on your journey. Actually, it's a refreshing part of my day, so thanks for all the time you put into it. Yeah, snow, wish I could be there too. Nothing like the western mountains in May/June. How does it feel to be away?
Good things you brought your Uggs! The Midwest weather is soo.. unpredictable! I'm loving your pictures and tales of your journey!!!
