Our old refrigerator's compressor died. So we spent a day shopping and came home having ordered this new beauty. Then we figured out that it wouldn't fit where the old fridge fit. So Pat came up with the idea of moving the spice shelves and the island over to where the old fridge fit. I have played around with how to rearrange the kitchen a thousand times since I've moved in, and never once came up with that idea- it worked great! We got the shelving all moved and one wall repainted just in time for the fridge to be delivered.
Yes, that is an ice, crushed ice and filtered water dispenser on the front- oooh so fancy. Lee & Marc came by to help us hook it up and now we have continuous ice - just in time for summer! Is that the sound of homemade ice cream being made for the new freezer........?
Jessica made barbequed chicken and cole slaw. I brought homemade brownies with ice cream and Hershey's sauce. It was great to have Tim meet the family.
